Utility and Performance

The Canyon sports a 310-horsepower turbo-four with an eight-speed automatic transmission that includes manual paddle shifting capabilities. You can select rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. This powertrain provides 430 pound-feet of torque. Towing capacity maxes out at a class-leading 7,700 pounds. You’ll have nearly 42 cubic feet of room in the truck bed, with a maximum payload of about 1,650 pounds. Standard folding rear seats create additional storage space inside the cab.

Hit the trails with the AT4X trim. This Canyon model comes with mud-terrain tires, hill descent control, rocker protectors, LED fog lights, off-road suspension with a 3-inch lift, and full-locking front and rear differentials. You can also add the AEV option package to incorporate steel front and rear bumpers with recovery hooks and steel underbody skid plates. The 2025 Canyon is offered with either 18-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels.

Infotainment Tech

The Canyon features a standard 11.3-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Wi-Fi hotspot. The base trim has a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio, voice recognition commands, three USB ports, and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster.

A Bose stereo system with seven speakers, wireless device charging, extra USB ports, and an 11-inch instrument cluster are also available. Power up your truck with available household-style outlets in the center console and truck bed. A spray-in bedliner is also available.

Driver Assistance Equipment

You’ll have high-tech standard safety systems in the Canyon, which include pre-collision and post-collision safety systems, stability control, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and a backup camera with integrated trailer views.

Higher trims expand the truck’s driver assistance package with adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning and intervention, an integrated trailer brake controller, and rear pedestrian alert. You can also add a 6.3-inch head-up display.

Interior Amenities

Each Canyon trim incorporates comfort features like standard automatic climate control and keyless entry. You’ll also have standard cruise control and push-button start.

You can enhance the cabin with synthetic or genuine leather upholstery in place of cloth as well as heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats. An optional sunroof and dual-zone automatic climate control are also available. Protect the interior by adding accessories such as all-weather floor mats.

The Canyon lineup adds three new exterior hues for 2025, and you can choose from four well-equipped trims. Visit Marquardt of Barrington GMC in Barrington, IL to test drive this rugged midsize pickup today.
